Accelerated College Experience (ACE)

Fall Enrollment Now Open

Oakland ACE is an Early College Program for students enrolled in Oakland County High Schools.

ACE offers students the opportunity, guidance, and support to earn 62 college credits.

  • Students begin their three-year program spanning in 11th grade. During 11th and 12th grades students share time between high school and Oakland Community College (OCC) Classes.
  • Students enjoy a 13th year in the program as a full-time student at OCC.
  • Students attend seminar class one time per week. During seminar students learn college success skills and receive personalized support from our Early College Success Coordinator.

There is no cost to the students or their families for tuition, fees, or books.

Fall 2022 Applicants:

  • Be a current 11th Grade student in a participating high school
  • Have a high school GPA of 2.0, or higher
  • Earn qualifying scores on OCC's Reading and Writing placement tests administered during the application process.
