STEMco

The Oakland Schools STEM checkout system (STEMco) is a lending library of STEM equipment. The goal of the checkout system is to provide districts with access to equipment that will support their K-12 STEM goals. The equipment includes multiple class sets of robotics, electronic building blocks, interactive media, and advanced manufacturing. Additionally, equipment comes with supporting technology which comes with applications pre installed. Consultants will support districts in selecting and implementing equipment in all content areas, not just STEM or Science classes. Our hope with STEMco is to provide educators with access to STEM equipment and technologies, leverage learning experiences and content connections, provide opportunities for real world connections/problem solving, and promote the building of various skills for the future.

STEMco Benefit:

  • The equipment of STEMco is available to all Oakland County Educators.
  • Items come with support from Oakland Schools STEM consultants.
  • It's free of cost.
