Our mission is to provide support for Oakland County districts to meet legal requirements and implement best practices related to PreK-12 health education instruction in schools to get students ready and able to learn.

Who should attend DHELN?
Oakland County school district staff that plan, implement, and evaluate any universal, tier 1, health related instruction for K-12 students.
Staff titles vary widely by local context, and commonly include the following: Health Subject Area Coordinator, Sex Education Supervisor*, Curriculum Director, SEL Lead, MTSS Coordinator, etc.
*Legally required position, if your district offers sex education content.
