Pupil Services

Oakland Schools Pupil Services Department provides assistance in all aspects of accountability for students in Oakland County.

Pupil Accounting

Conducts the two Count Day Membership audits, 25e audit, 23a audit, Days and Clock Hours audit and Graduation and Dropout (GAD) audit for the public districts and charter schools in Oakland County.

Tracks Schools of Choice, Charter School and Non-Public School options in the county and provides information on homeschooling.

Truancy

Assists public schools with children who do not attend school regularly and promotes positive attendance using the 3A’s – Attendance, Attachment and Achievement.

Follows a county-wide Truancy Protocol and has a county-wide Truancy Task Force that meets monthly during the school year to address and support positive school attendance. In addition, it supports a middle school truancy prevention program called Back to School.
