The first Oakland County Here4U Kick off event started without any official branding. District mentors and peer educators signed up for team's knowing they would be trained to positively impact beliefs about mental health and connecting peers to help. Staff at Oakland Schools, Easter Seals, and Oakland Community Health Network developed a process for the peer educators to come up with ideas for our project name and vote for the favorite of their peers ideas throughout the initial kickoff day.
