What's Changed
- Mathematics has
been completely revised to align to the grade level content
expectations released by the State for grades K-8.
- Fifth grade social studies curriculum
has been re-sequenced so that the unit of study that addresses
the United States Constitution comes at the beginning of the
year. This will enable students to have the opportunity to study
this before they are tested on it on the MEAP in the Spring.
Revisions
available
- Fourth grade social studies, Unit
7, entitled Comparing Michigan to a State from Another Country,
has been revised to add "Great Lakes" to the list
of key concepts, and the words "prefecture" and "country"
from the list of key concepts are replaced with "public
issue" and "economic development" as replacement
