Braille and Production Facilities
 The
Braille Library and Production Facilities offer a number of services:
- Produces braille and large print textbooks
for visually impaired students
- Searches national databases for braille textbooks
that are not available locally
- Maintains a library for braille and large
print textbooks which are loaned on demand
- Has a depository for teaching supplies and
materials
- Registration of visually impaired students
with Recordings for the Blind
- Registration of legally blind students with
the American Printing House for the Blind who then qualify for
Federal Quota Funds
- Serves as an educational resource for VI
services
