Substitute requirements
The State of Michigan requires any substitute teacher candidate to complete 90 credit hours in any subject area from a four-year college or university.

Emergency/150-Day Permit
These are for substitutes who do not have a teaching certificate. The application for an Emergency permit/150 day permit must be submitted by the district that you will be working in.
