The Oakland Schools Department of Special Education provides staff and services to the constituent school districts within Oakland County to support the identification and education of students with disabilities. Services include, but are not limited to, teacher consultants for evaluating and instructing students with low incidence disabilities, audiology evaluations regulatory technical assistance, access to assistive technology and a range of professional learning opportunities for educators, parents, and administration.
