Level 3 Update (Second ISP) - Monday, November 05, 2007 - Monday, November 05, 2007

        We now control our own routes for Level 3

    Speed Increase
        Telcove is now completly merged with Level 3's network resulting in better response times and faster speeds.
 
Qwest Connection Upgrade - Tuesday, April 01, 2008
The new Qwest OC-12 Internet circuit was implemented on Sunday March 30th.  This circuit will provide ONE with 315 Mbps of Internet bandwidth, doubling the old Quest circuit.  Between our two ISP’s (Quest and Level 3) we have 515Mbps of available bandwidth to the Internet. 
Spam Filtering - Monday, November 05, 2007

We are now adding districts to the ONE Spam firewalls. If you haven't responded to the survey, let us know you would like to be added and what solution you have in place currently.

 
UPS Replacements - Monday, November 05, 2007

All UPS and enviromental monitoring devices for the ONE Network have been replaced. The Oakland Schools NOC can now monitor battery health as well as temp and humidity.
