- Educational Technology and Library Media Services
- The purpose of this Learning Services team is to collaboratively
fashion visions for the use of information and educational technology
with educational communities and support them as they strive to make
their visions reality.
- Mathematics, Science, Health, and Design and Technology
- This Learning Services team provides consultation and professional
development in curriculum, instruction, assessment, program
development, state and federal requirements and technical assistance in
Mathematics, Science, Design & Technology, Health and Physical
Education.
- Michigan's Educational Standards
- Michigan's content standards are a set of learning expectations
developed by parents, educators, business leaders and university
professors to assist schools in the development of local district
curricula.
- Sample Curriculum and Plans for Education
- is a one-of-a-kind resource, created for teachers - by teachers -
to improve student achievement. The SCoPE site provides a model, local,
core curriculum for grades K-11 in English language arts, mathematics,
science and social studies.
Assessment
- Research Evaluation and Assessment Programs
- This Learning Services team helps inform education decision-makers by
collecting and analyzing data and research information. They help
develop and maintain testing and assessment programs and design and
conduct research and evaluations.
- Curriculum and Assessment Resource Service - This web site provides school administrators and teachers access to the growing awareness of URL's that link to assessments.
We link to 755 assessments from all subject areas K-12 with an emphasis on the core areas.
- Rubrics - University of Wisconsin site containing many ready made rubrics on current topics.
- What Works Clearninghouse
- Our mission is to provide federal, state, and local education
officials, researchers, program providers, and educators with
practical, easy-to-use tools to (i) advance rigorous evaluations of
educational interventions (i.e., programs, products, practices, and
policies), and (ii) identify and implement evidence-based interventions.

- Michigan eLibrary Reference Desk (MeL) - This service is funded in part by the State of Michigan through the Library
of Michigan. Additional project support comes from the Federal Library
Services and Technology Act (LSTA) via the Institute of Museum and
Library Services (IMLS).
- Education Resources Information Center (ERIC)
- This service provides free access to more than 1.2 million
bibliographic records of journal articles and other education-related
materials and, if available, includes links to full text. ERIC is
sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education, Institute of Education
Sciences (IES).
