This new program is a partnership among Oakland Schools, Oakland County Government, local school districts and businesses. Following a challenge from Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson in his February 2007 State of the County address, Oakland Schools quickly brought language instruction to 14 of the 28 local districts and culture curriculum to all 28 districts by Fall 2007. This program continues to grow so please check back here regularly for updates.
