Government Relations provides leadership and supports the needs of the public schools in Oakland County with policy-makers in Lansing and in Washington D.C. by:

• Communicating the impact of pending and prospective legislation on the public schools in Oakland County
• Advocating proactively to serve as an advocate for the public schools in Oakland County
• Responding to media questions on school related legislative issues
• Working to solve legislative issues
