The goal of the Super Summer Success Reading Program is to increase educators' awareness about the importance and benefits of developing a summer reading program. The SSS program is designed for all students but is especially beneficial for economically disadvantaged children and less able readers.
A SSS planning team developed several resources to provide additional information and assist educators with the implementation of a SSS Reading Program. Not all of the resources have been completed so continue to look for updates. The following items may be downloaded for your use. Please remember to leave the SSS and Oakland Schools logo intact on all of the documents available for download. Oakland Schools developed this program for your use and owns the rights to these documents.
